Faded Blues

These are my favorite pair of jeans. I mean they aren't really anything special and the color is hella faded and the stretch is at its max but they're my go-to. The length, the feel, the comfort, I crave it. Or more like I'm lazy a lot sometimes and need to wear them for something quick.

The scarf makes the outfit really. Its a basic black button up and old jeans. Well the scarf and the shoes really. Cause the shoes are what I really wanted to wear. I've been trying and failing to pair them with every outfit I've worn since they've come in the mail. I wore them once or twice with a sweatshirt or oversized sweater to run out real quick. Other than that its either raining or snowing and boooo to you mother nature!
Todays events were nothing but a trip to the mall to score some spring duds. So why not be comfy, right?

1 Sheep, 2 Sheep, 3 Sheep

I wore this sweater to a ladies luncheon with my aunties and mom for Grams birthday last week.
Originally, I wore this outfit out to dinner with friends a while back and received lots of positive feedback on my little lambs and thought it'd be kitschy for lunch with the matriarch of the fam.
It was a hit and I love this sweater not only because I'm comfortable but it makes a statement too (albeit a sleepy one perhaps).

I bundled up with a black blazer and purple scarf. I think I may retire my winter coats...most of them anyway. I refuse to think that it will remain cold this month. This Coach was one of my first splurges when I became a nurse, before I bought a house, therefore, I treasure it.

Feeling Spring-y

My sister recently hosted a Mary Kay pampering party at her new home as she is thinking of becoming a consultant (yay for me!!). It was a very cold and rainy day and I new there would be pampering so I didn't want to get too dressed up and I didn't even bother with makeup.
I was inspired by this outfit I saw on Kendi Everyday. I love her blog and the layout and she has the cutest shop Bloom. She always looks so chic.

I adore the colors and the simplicity.
So even though it started snowing I still wore this.

Chambray: Old Navy (out of stock, similar, similar)
Jeans: Target (similar, +size)
Booties: unknown (glitter,similar, similar)
Jacket: Wet Seal, no longer avaiable (similar)
Necklace: Rue21 (not online check stores)

The necklace is so much fun I knew I had to wear it when I woke up that morning! =)

Do you ever have days when you just have to wear it?
What is it for you? me?...mostly shoes but today accessories.

P.s. Ignore the wet spots on the booties...I told you it was snowing.
